Flounder Gigging charters take place from March 1st – November 30th.
Our flounder gigging charters take place on the intercoastal waterways, from Beaufort and Bluffton to Hilton Head and Dafuskie. All gigging charters take place during low tide at night, in water that is 1ft – 3 ft deep. Charter times vary depending on the tides. Each charter lasts 3 – 5 hours, and all ages and skill levels are welcome.
Jeff Starling has been fishing these waters for nearly 50 years, so he has the experience and knowledge to ensure a successful charter everytime.
Equipment Included
19 ft Center Console
Since flounder gigging takes place in extremely shallow water, we use a 19-foot center console welded aluminum boat. The front of the boat has 32 inch rails, and it is equipped with 4,000 watts of lights so you can easily see the fish. All equipment is provided. Water is complimentary. If you would like other beverages and/or snacks, bring your own, and we will stock them in the cooler.
